Laboratory systems that follow the sample from receipt to certificate.
A testing lab runs on precise rules: who received the sample, which tests were requested, on which instrument, against which specification, and who reviewed and approved the result. We have worked on production LIMS in testing laboratories, and we build software that respects that rigour.
The life of a sample
- 01RequestThe client requests tests; the request is tied to a file and, where needed, a purchase order.
- 02ReceiptThe sample is registered, identified and labelled; its condition on arrival is recorded.
- 03SchedulingTests are assigned according to methods, workstations and available instruments.
- 04TestingResults are entered or imported from the instrument, with units and conditions.
- 05ReviewResults are compared against specifications, reviewed, then approved by an authorized person.
- 06CertificateThe report or certificate of analysis is generated from approved data.
- 07Billing and archiveThe work is invoiced in the ERP; the complete record stays searchable.
What we do for laboratories
- Process analysis and digitization
- We follow the real path of samples and data through your lab before proposing anything.
- Sample and job management
- Receipt, identification, assignment, turnaround and progress tracking, from client file to archive.
- Results and specifications
- Entry, calculations, limit and unit checks, multi-level review and approval.
- Instrument connectivity
- Automatic import of instrument results, removing transcription and the errors that come with it.
- Reports and certificates
- Certificates and business documents generated from approved data only.
- LIMS ↔ ERP integration
- Clients, orders, billing and inventory kept in sync between the lab and the rest of the business.
- Evolving existing LIMS
- Extensions, integrations, data migration and modernization of a platform in place, without stopping the lab.
- Custom lab applications
- When a specific need doesn't belong in the LIMS: a dedicated tool, connected to the same data.
Quality, traceability, auditability
Testing laboratory quality systems, for instance under ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, require that the path of a result can be reconstructed. We design for that requirement: change logs with reasons, review and approval signatures, versioned methods and specifications, access control.
Bjija does not certify your laboratory's compliance; that remains the responsibility of your quality system. Our role is to deliver software that supports it, with the documentation and validation evidence that go with it.
We speak your language
Sample, batch, test request, method, specification, out-of-spec result, review, approval, certificate of analysis: we speak the lab's language, which shortens every conversation.
Let's talk about your project.
Describe your situation in a few lines. We'll get back to you to discuss it, with no commitment.
